Yet another uber cool inner-West location to get lost in for a few hours, Seddon is the place for the shopper who wants to buy a piece with a story.  You’ll find vintage and sustainable gems and products sourced from local and international artisans.

There is something special happening in Seddon.  It’s a soulful energy coming through in mindful, organic, sustainable and local offerings. Pick up your essentials at Eka Wholefoods, Pompello, The Happy Apple and Love Luvo you’ll find a range of produce and products that are gentle on the earth and you.

Westside Yoga shines it’s beautiful energy over the streets of Seddon and pre-covid the most common accessory in the village on a Sunday afternoon was a yoga mat.

Seddon Book Alley is a book lovers haven with a huge range of second hand books.  I’ve now got into the pattern of dropping a few off when I pick up something new.

Soak up and enjoy everything Seddon has to offer, it is worthy of a full leisurely afternoon including coffee, lunch and a vino with friends with shopping in between.

1/ Once More, With Feeling, 73 Charles St, Seddon

With a collection of vintage and vintage inspired fashion, it’s like walking into a time capsule of treasures! Owner, Joanne Armstrong has a keen eye for vintage and always looks like she has walked out of a Hollywood movie in glamorous, colourful pieces. I’m never there for a quick visit, it’s a journey back to another time and once I’ve scoured the racks, I’m deep diving into the scarf basket.

2/ Casa Bonita Lifestyle, 80 Charles St, Seddon

It’s a magical adventure walking into this store, full of colour.  A social enterprise that is ethically empowering women and communities by creating financial security to more than 200 artisans and Indigenous communities in Colombia, every piece has a story to tell.  My pick is to invest in one of their beautiful bags and have it as the statement piece of your outfit, just paired with jeans and a tee.  It deserves to be the hero of your outfit.

3/ Kith and Kin, 154A Victoria St, Seddon

A mindful selection, of beautiful pieces, sourced from afar and curated in the most soulful space. There is a beautiful energy just walking into this store and then you’ll just want to stay and play. Trying on fun, stylish pieces, digging through the bowl of crystals in search of the one calling your name or choosing a beautiful piece of jewellery.

4/ Sedonia, 41 Gamon St, Seddon

Lovingly curated, you’ll find homewares, clothing, gifts and accessories from well known brands and local artisans. Think Elk, Marimekko, Kowtow and Second Female.  My go-to for gifts and finding that unique fashion piece to treasure.

5/ Far Fetched Designs, 84 Charles St, Seddon

A curation of items handmade by mostly local artists.  You’ll find unique and creative pieces, to let your personality shine through your style and gift ideas with a difference.
